Got the tasting menu, duck breast, caviar potato, and both deserts were the standouts. Duck breast was cooked perfectly and had a great crust. Tried the non alcoholic cocktails for dry January, waiter recommended the Indulgence in Moderation, which was maybe the best NA cocktail I’ve had, had some real body and depth

Lutèce offers an exceptional French dining experience. The tasting menu was a delight—beautifully presented, flavorful, and perfectly paced. Service was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the evening feel seamless. A refined yet welcoming spot that’s well worth a visit. It is in Georgetown so parking will be difficult to find so plan ahead.

If you're looking for an exceptional French dining experience in the heart of Washington, DC, Lutece is a must-visit. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a variety of delectable dishes. We sampled nearly everything on the menu, and my favorites were the beef tongue and the crispy fish—both were outstanding. The only downside is the limited selection of vegetarian options. However, the desserts are phenomenal, and the grated Comté cheese on dessert is a truly innovative and delicious touch. I'd return just to enjoy that dessert again. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is inviting, making for an overall delightful dining experience.

We had a great dinner here including one of the best and most interesting desserts I've ever had - the honey semifreddo. I'm not a dessert person and would go back for that dish alone. For mains, the duck was perfectly cooked and the pepper was a nice balance to the sweeter sauce. The kohlrabi and grilled cabbage starters were both tasty and refreshing.

Lutèce is everything you dreamed of and more. It’s a small French restaurant with hard-to-get reservations, tucked right in the heart of Georgetown. Their dishes are incredible, the atmosphere is electric, and the drinks are heavenly. We tried their tasting menu. You’re seated at one of two individual two-tops right in front of the kitchen and get to see all the wonderful dishes. Chef Bruno did a phenomenal job at the front and even stopped to speak with us. Our server, Will, was also one of the most personable waiters in town. His jokes and quirky fun facts about the wine pairings made the night unforgettable. They’ve exceeded our expectations. I would even say that Lutèce is better than some of DC’s Michelin starred restaurants. For example, I think they are much better than Rose’s Luxury and Gravitas. Bresca claims to have the best duck in DC but Lutèce’s was much more succulent. I still think Le Dip’s duck is of better quality than both restaurants; however, Lutèce’s masterful preparation was unparalleled. The bigarade sauce was perfectly reduced and the crisp sunchoke was expertly done. My favorite dish of the night: Parisian Gnocchi. I’ll dream of it. We also tried their cocktails. The drinks were well balanced and unique, which simultaneously shocked and fascinated you. Overall, we are so happy with our experience and hope to join again in the future. Confused how they don’t have a star yet!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is wonderful here and everything we tried from the menu was incredible. They have a really great Chardonnay on the menu and the espresso martinis are delicious as well. We shared 3 apps (the cabbage, sourdough and caviar) all of which were amazingly flavorful. We then got our own entrees - gnocci and waygu. Again, the flavors and presentation were stellar. The honeycomb and Comte dessert stole the show. Definitely come here for a special occasion, you won’t regret it!!!

We made a same day reservation on a Sunday for lunch and was able to get one for indoors. It is an intimate dining space but it did not feel too cramped. We ordered one of the mocktails which was very light in flavor. 15 for that was not worth it. Next we had the Charred Napa Cabbage which was a pleasant surprise. The tahini and char played well with each other. We also got duck hearts which was a first for us, but we were both pleasantly surprised. For my main I got the beef cheek which was almost cooked perfectly but was very flavorful with the mashed potatoes and sauce. For dessert we opted for the brioche donut which was sweet and savory. While expensive, I enjoyed the ambiance and service. I think once I have explored other restaurants in Georgetown I would consider coming back for sure.

This is our second time at Lutèce and celebrating an anniversary. Amazing food like last time and we got to try new seasonal items. Meats were cooked perfectly but since it’s French cuisine the portions will be smaller and flavor more delicate. They also offer green and yellow chartreuse as dessert which is unique. A reservation is a must given how high-demand the restaurant is and we highly recommend the food!
